The logo was inspired by a wood measuring cup that Ayumi found in Fredericksburg, Texas. She explains: “We loved that the symbol (which is also two Ds stacked on top of one another) can represent many objects used in the kitchen: mug, measuring cup, knife, half a fruit, etc.
Ayumi also designed the hand drawn vegetables, fruits and colorful badges that enliven my stories and recipes.
Ayumi and Lauren worked with me to chose the color palette, fonts and layout to create a fun, vintage look.
